The Railway Board conducts the RRB JE Exam for recruiting candidates with science and engineering backgrounds for the various technical posts like Junior Engineer, Junior Engineer (IT), and more available in the Indian Railways.

The selection process of the candidates includes three stages, two computer-based tests, and then finally a document verification and medical examination. The candidates must select their preferred RRB JE Exam Language. The permitted languages are Assamese, Bengali, Hindi, Gujarati, Konkani, Kannada, Manipuri, Malayalam, Marathi, Punjabi, Odia, Telugu, Tamil, and Urdu.
