How Yoga Day became World Yoga Day
Today we celebrated seventh the International yoga day. Yoga is full body exercise, not only exercise but it gives mental relaxation. As we know yog Guru Ramdev Baba introduced yoga in India as national level after which Modi government proceed this process and make yoga an international exercise. Today not only in different parts of India but also in different parts of world people celebrated international yoga Day in different forms with all safety regarding covid-19.
On International Yoga Day on 21st June Monday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said yoga became a source of inner strength for people and a medium to transform negativity to creativity amid the coronavirus pandemic. He said that this is a hard period of covid-19 pandemic therefore we should make us internally strong and mentally active and the yoga will us to become stronger to fight with coronavirus. PM Modi said that today patients as well as doctors do yoga for mental recovery as well as health recovery.

“Yoga shows us the road from stress to strength and from negativity to creativity. Yoga tells us that so many problems might be out there, but we have infinite solutions within ourselves. We are the biggest source of energy in the universe,” PM Modi said as he addressed the nation on the seventh International Yoga Day. “Today even medical science lays emphasis on the healing process, besides medical treatment. Yoga helps in the healing process,” PM Modi added.
Theme of yoga day
This year, the theme of the International Day of Yoga is ‘Yoga For Wellness’, and the focus will be on practicing yoga for physical and mental well-being.
