Disney + Hotstar subscription was available in these; Decision taken after 5G service started

Reliance Jio has removed its 12 recharge plans as soon as 5G internet service starts. In all these data plans, users were also getting Disney + Hotstar subscription. Now only 2 such recharge plans of Jio are left, with which users will get Disney + Hotstar subscription. Many data plans of Jio’s 28, 56 and 84 days are still working as before.

Jio did not remove 5G plan

As soon as 5G internet service started in India from October 1, Jio also started providing 5G service to its users. 5G internet is currently in the testing phase. That’s why they did not remove 5G data plans. Jio will also reveal its 5G plan as soon as the testing is completed.

These 12 plans were closed

Data add-on plans of Rs 151, 555 and Rs 659 have been discontinued. The regular recharge plans of Rs 333, 499, 583, 601, 783, 799, 1066, 2999 and Rs 3119 have also been discontinued. With all these plans, users were getting Disney + Hotstar subscription for another three months to one year.

Why did you stop this plan?

Reliance Jio has not given any reason behind discontinuing the regular and data add on plans. Discontinued the plans in which Disney + Hotstar was available. Starting from October 16, the global cricket tournament T-20 World Cup will come only on Disney + Hotstar.

It is believed that in view of the World Cup, these plans were called off. However, Disney + Hotstar subscription is still available in Jio’s plans of Rs 1499 and Rs 4199. The validity of 84 days is available in the plan of 1499 and one year in the plan of 4199.

5G has started in these cities

Bharti Airtel and Reliance Jio started providing 5G service in some cities of the country from October 1. Airtel started service in Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Siliguri, Nagpur and Varanasi. At the same time, Jio started service in Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata and Varanasi. However, different mobile phone brands will provide 5G connectivity to their users at different times.

Getting speed of 600 Mbps

Cities where 5G service started. Users there complained on Twitter that their data was lost in seconds as soon as 5G internet started. In testing, it was found that the speed of 5G internet is from 500 to 600 Mbps.

Jio is giving unlimited 5G internet to its users. At the same time, Airtel is providing 5G internet service in the previous plan of its users. However, both the platforms have not yet revealed their 5G plans.
