Hema Malini and Ramesh sippy on KBC 13 set
The very talented and beautiful, dream girl actor Hema Malini will be on Sony set kbc season 13 and director Ramesh Sippy will be seen sharing a funny moments on Kaun Banega Crorepati’s Friday episode 13. The trio – Amitabh Bachchan, Hema and Ramesh will be seen revisiting their movie Sholay and sharing some of the famous dialogues from the movie.
In the promo shared by Sony tv Instagram, in which Amitabh and Hema also recreating scenes and dialogues from Sholay. Hema recreated Dharmendra’s popular dialogue, “Basanti, in kutton ke samne mat nachna (Basanti, do not dance in front of these dogs),” leaving everyone surprised.
In another clip, Amitabh delivered the famous lines “Agrezo ke zamaane ke jailer hai (I have been a jailer since the British era)”, originally delivered by Asrani saheb in film, a good comedian of his era.
A brief about Sholay
Sholay was released on August 15, 1975, with Amitabh Bachchan, Dharmendra, Hema Malini, Jaya Bachchan, Sanjeev Kumar, AK Hangal, and Amjad Khan in lead roles. First of all this movie was offered to Shatrughan Sinha , after his rejection it was transferred to Amitabha bachchan. This movie was a block buster which broke many records. It became the first Bollywood film to celebrate a Silver Jubilee in theaters. It was the oldest Hindi film until Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge (1995). According to Businessline, Sholay won ??15 crores net at that time.
Otherwise, Hema and Ramesh on KBC 13 will donate the winning amount to the Hema Malini Foundation which works for the education and medical treatment of Mathura’s children. The episode will air on October 15 on Sony Entertainment Television.
Many Bollywood celebrities have appeared on KBC’s Friday Special 13. Pankaj Tripathi, Pratik Gandhi, Genelia D’Souza, Riteish Deshmukh, Deepika Padukone, Farah Khan, Jackie Shroff and Sunil Shetty were some of the many stars visited kbc this season.
This is Amitabh’s 12th year as host of the show. Shah Rukh Khan is the only other person to have hosted Kaun Banega Crorepati. He was called aboard for the third season after Amitabh stepped down from the role.
