Exam Pattern for UPSC CAPF examination 2020:

The examination is conducted in four stages. In the order as mentioned- Written Exam, Physical Efficiency Test & Medical Standards Test, Interview and Merit List.

The written exam is further bifurcated into Paper I and Paper II with the following subject matter:

Paper I General Ability & Intelligence Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) 2 hours 250
Paper II General Studies, Essay & Comprehension Descriptive 3 hours 200
