The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) conducts the IBPS PO exam for the recruitment of eligible candidates to the Probationary Officers post in different public sector banks in India. IBPS PO Recruitment 2021

The IBPS PO selection process has 3 phases – preliminary, mains, and interview.  The candidates appearing must clear each of them to proceed to the next phase. The details of all the IBPS stages are given below.

Preliminary Exam:

A sufficient number of candidates in each category are selected by IBPS as per the main exam requirements.

Mains Examination:

To be eligible for the interview stage, the candidates must clear the overall and sectional cut-off.

Interview:

The interview is held with the help of IBPS by the Participating Organizations. It is coordinated by the Nodal Banks in each UT/State.

Final Result:

The Final result is based on the performance of the candidates combined in IBPS PO Mains and Interview stages.

Provisional Allotment:

The provisional allotment is released on the official website of the qualified candidate. The banks are given to the candidates according to their preferences which are made at the time of online application.

IBPS PO Exam Pattern 2021

IBPS exam will have a sectional timing for each of the sections in the preliminary exam. The IBPS PO exam recruitment will be based on the two online written exams: IBPS Preliminary Exam and IBPS Mains Exam. After qualifying both the stages the candidate is called for a face-to-face interview process.

IBPS PO Syllabus 2021

IBPS exam syllabus is very similar to other bank exams. The prelims exam has three subjects are Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning Ability, and English Language. The syllabus for the mains and prelims exam is quite similar, there are just two additional subjects in the mains exam that are General Awareness, Computer Aptitude.
